It was a chick with a katana and two armless zombies on chains. Who else could it be?

The Governor and prison were intertwined.

But they could write the prison into the show without the Governor. Or, at least, a not-quite-so-dark ending of the Governor storyline.

Oh, there's no way the storyline ends as dark as it did in the comics, but from what I've seen, a lot of the storyline will be pretty close to the comics.

Well, the prison and The Governor aren't the same though. He comes from Woodbury...the prison is nearby Woodbury. I'm sure they will stick with the comic storyline in which Rick and Co. clean up the prison, secure it and then the helicopter crashes and both Woodbury people and the Atlanta gang go see what happened and someone (maybe Andrea...Myrle?) is a part of Woodbury and is a prisoner.

That said, I have yet to see the season finale of the show...so I am going off what I have read here and there. Still have 90 minutes of work! ARGH!

They aren't the same, but the storylines end up connected pretty heavily.

Again, I haven't read the comics, JRoyal. I didn't realize that was a giveaway.

You'd think Herschel would know there's a prison around there.

Rick said they'd been driving for at least an hour before they stopped, and there's no telling how long before that. Even if they're driving slow to stay together and keep a lookout for hazards, they could be 100 miles away from the farm by that point. Plus, they might not even know where they are or where they're going at that point. They might just be wandering down roads, trying to get some distance between themselves and the herd.

Jimmy's death in the RV was creepy. Just that last shot of blood spatter on the windshield, with the lights of the RV on behind him ... something about that just creeped me the fuck out, way more than any of the others.

I'm still trying to figure out how a walker could rip open Dale's stomach with bare hands? Are they that strong or was Dale's skin made of rice paper?

It was explained on Talking Dead...the skin off the zombie's hands had worn off and the finger bones were probably sharper than normal bones since they were exposed.

So they were driving more than 100 miles an hour?
