You named yourself after a pretty boy who "starred" in Battlestar Galactica. Enough said. ???

I thought he gave a great speech and tied in the Negro Leagues and Jackie Robinson very nicely.

Stat heads and seam heads are different species.

  4. In my limited dealings with him, he's been nothing but nice.

But the Post has beaten him around quite a bit in recent years, Dooley, at least to the point where both papers are breaking a significant amount of news. It doesn't hurt Tracy that the Rocky Mtn News has a minority stake in the team he covers.

Also, he's a great reporter, but a mediocre writer.

Does it matter? The guy is going into the Hall, so obviously not. Congrats to Tracy.

Very interesting that a stable of Rockies execs were in attendance today. That sounded a little weird to me.

Excellent speech, though. Congrats to Tracy on getting into a place I'll never visit without paying the nine bucks.

Do not sell yourself short, Embittered one. I'm hearing nothing but good things about your work.

Of course, by the time you're eligible, it will be a blogger award.

For the record, Beej does award-winning work.

  10. What's the deal with the big belt buckle he was sporting Sunday?
Did he win a rodeo too?

Tracy's style of dress is usually western. Hats, buckles, whatever. Why people make that an issue is beyond me, but people do.

The next time you see Tracy criticize Rockies management in a column will be the first time.
