Two questions for those who watch House

I"m a late-comer to this show. Does anyone else find it curious how often the doctors go to the patient's residence and explore the contents? I don't think I've ever seen them ask permission, but on the other hand, they don't seem to be breaking in, either. Did it ever get explained how they get to do this? I understand the why, just not the how...

secondly, what role does the doctor who was the suicidal boy in Dead Poets Society play? Is he just there to be House's pal?

thirdly, I guess now we know that sam seaborn's call girl passed the bar and went on to become a medical lawyer. Score for the hos (as usual) ;D

They basically break in to the house. I don't believe it's been explained if they snag the key and do it, or just jimmy the door.

The fellow doc is the only other doctor House actually trusts, aside from Cutty (and I'm not sure he trusts her that much). Also, he's a whipping boy for House, so he can't help himself.

And, yes, Sam's girl is a doc. And sexy as hell.

House's boss, played by Lisa Edelstein. Such great hair (yes, I'm serious).

 

hmm, I'm drawing a complete blank. Is it a minor role? The main characters from what i've seen are House, the black doctor (Foreman, i think), the male blonde doctor, and the female blonde doctor, the guy from DPS, sela ward, and sam's call girl.

Really a good show, btw. The benefit to not having watched it till now is every Tuesday night there are back-to-back episodes that are new to me.

As for the questions posed at the start of this thread: I'd hit Cuddy and the Jennifer Marshall character. A lot.

 

mea culpa. Honestly, I didn't recognize her as the call girl/cutty from that picture. Looks like a glamor shot.

Wilson is House's friend and the guy you're referring too. He's the head of the oncology department and will have minor storylines but is mostly there to be House's foil/better half.
