Vanessa Carlton comes "out"

The 29-year-old singer announces that she's a "proud bisexual":

Color me skeptical about someone with a new album coming out and no hits in the last five-plus years. I know it's probably a double standard, but when women like Carlton, Megan Fox and Anna Paquin announce their bisexuality, it seems more like "Girls Gone Wild" than any sort of courageous stand. I'd love to be convinced otherwise, though.
