Not all Steelers fans wanted him gone. I wanted them to make Brown honor his contract, especially once he scuttled the trade to the Bills. That should have been the end of any attempt to give him the trade out of town he wanted.

Of course, there are reports that the Steelers turned down the Patriots' offer of a first-round pick for Brown only to get less and see him end up with the Patriots after all. The only way this could have worked out worse for the Steelers is if Brown was eligible to play tonight. As it is, they publicly caved to Brown, got terrible value in trade and made the Patriots better in the process.

There is a very good case to be made that Brown and Rosenhaus punked both the Steelers and the Raiders. I wouldn't be shocked if they and the Patriots are laughing their asses off at both organizations right now.

You were right. So was I, for that matter. I didn't predict he would go to the Patriots, but I did predict that trading him would go badly for the Steelers.

Want to feel even worse? Remember, the Steelers used the first of the picks they got for Diontae Johnson, who was hurt most of the preseason and may not get a helmet tonight. They passed on Chase Winovich, who looks like he might make an immediate impact for the Patriots. Oy.

Because this Cleveland team is supposed to trumpet a new era and Nantz and the network want in on the ground floor.

The discussion leading up to decision was likely fascinating on why WE NEED TO BE THERE! MAYFIELD! ODELL! THE BROWNS!

He's already trolling everybody on social media, so of course he won't miss the opportunity tonight. If the Patriots win, would anybody be shocked to see him running around talking shit on the Steelers on the field at the end of the game?

Oops. I saw this after I responded to your other post. He will have to restrict his trolling to post-game comments and social media.

Oof. Redskins (plus-10) score a touchdown with six seconds left against the Eagles to cut it to 32-27 and create either a bad beat or a miraculous save, depending on which side you were on.
Of course I was on the former. Ugh.

I wonder if they'll stay on the East Coast of New York instead of heading all the way back home.

I'm not sure if this was posted yet, but Nick Foles has a broken collarbone.
