Only if the other receiver makes contact with the defender, which he did not.

Tony, I am talking back to the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. The 4 p.m. games were reserved for the NFC and AFC West. It was not until flexible scheduling that we saw a glut of East Coast games starting at 4 p.m.

Not true at all. The dynasty Cowboys of the 1990s played a lot of 4 p.m. games, and certainly the Cowboys of an earlier time.

And the central time zone teams, but the east coast home games almost always were kicked off at 1 p.m.

Now we have Thursday night, Sunday night every week and a Sunday night game.

They are Central Time Zone, not Eastern Time Zone.

I honestly don't know where the fault lies on that missed field goal play. On the fact that the Titans used two time outs screwing it up? Or on the fact that Bullock missed it (for the third official missed FG in the game or the actual fifth missed one.)

Either the Jets or Giants always play(ed) at 4:00, and not always because they were playing on the road, vs. a West Coast team.

You said East Coast teams always played home games at 1 p.m. ET.

You never said "usually" or "most of" or anything like that.

Did you ever see the old Pat Summerall lead-in to 60 Minutes, "except on the West Coast"? Now why would they run a lead-in for 60 Minutes at 4 o'clock in the afternoon, Devil, as the 1 p.m. games were ending? Or could it possibly have been because some of those games started at 4:00 and ended around 7:00?

Odd, because when he was 27, he moved around like he was 47.

Because East Coast viewers were watching the game at about 7 p.m. EST while the fans in San Francisco were looking at 4 p.m. on their watches.

More NFL games are being played as the sun goes down. College, also is doing it.

    More, yes.

But you were trying to say this didn't happen before 8-9 years ago.
