I have no idea what Terry Bradshaw's regular season record was against the Cowboys, and I could care less.

I'll be more impressed by Seattle when the Seahawks can win consistently on the road.

They looked terrible against a mediocre Carolina team and then they looked like world beaters at home against the Niners. If they can have a winning road record, I'll feel differently about their Super Bowl chances.

I agree. But if they don't have to play on the road, can anyone go in there and beat them? SF would have been my only bet. Green Bay? I don't see it. The Packers match up with Seattle better than San Francisco, but that defense and the Packers' line...oy. They did play them tough last year, though, and the Packers haven't given up much on the ground at all. They're missing a bunch of guys in the secondary.

I do think that the next SF-SEA game will be very, very different than the crapfest we just saw.

Seattle really gets up to play the Niners. I want to see that level of play against another top team. Based on what happened last season, I could see the Packers going in there and beating Seattle.

The NFC West is going to beat up on each other and even though I think Seattle and San Francisco are the two best teams in the NFC, I wouldn't be surprised to see the No. 1 seed come from some other division where there are a couple bad teams where you might be able to get some easy wins. Although, to be fair, I don't think there is a really bad division in the NFC.

The Alex Smith-Jim Harbaugh combo was 3-0 against Seattle. Just sayin'. :)

The Packers and Falcons match up more favorably with the Seahawks than the Niners do because they have quarterbacks who can simply outgun Wilson, and much, much better deep threats than anything the Niners have.

Wasn't Tarvaris Jackson starting for two of those? :D

That's exactly what I think. The Packers of last year would be susceptible to Lynch rushing for 200 yards, but their front line appears to be much stronger through the first two weeks. The secondary has to get better and should when guys get healthy.

The Falcons, I don't know much about. I'm inclined to say they're soft and don't trust Ryan in Seattle, but that's just perception more than anything else.

Lacy/Starks would have to get SOMETHING going on the ground, just enough to keep the heat off Rodgers. I'm not sure that they could against that defense.

Andy Reid and Alex Smith, WTF? Jax and Dallas, but still.

Is Schiano the first coach fired?

He probably should be. You have to love it when a coach starts pissing everyone off and running players off before they have any level of success. Schiano and Josh McDaniels should have a chat.

Freeman is far from a great QB, but he's pretty good, and part of being a NFL coach is keeping your QB motivated and happy.

Schiano seemed like such a manly man when he was ordering his players to cheap-shot, too. So sad. Such a good guy.

I think the Falcons are getting closer, but it doesn't help when they keep losing playoff games at home (two of the last three seasons). The window is closing though...
