At my sis in laws house in Western Kansas right now, it is 56 degrees with heavy rain, lightning and thunder.
    On Christmas Day.

Last year was the shittiest Christmas imaginable. Drove the kids back from Tennessee that morning after a week at my parents, so naturally by myself with no groceries in the house and (at the time) no cable. Then my plans to drive downtown for a big meal got kiboshed, as did a trip to the movies, thanks to wicked storms and not infrequent tornado warnings.

Just passed the neighborhood car wash. All six stalls occupied on this 75 degree day.

It's 72° here as well, but it's not nice. Cloudy, humid, with 40-mph wind gusts. Just basically nawsty.

Last Christmas was much the same and the next day an EF4 tornado hit. No severe storms for us this time. Those will be farther up in Chef country.

low 50's and wind gusts basically the same.
in our country, the breezes start at 30 mph. saying goes that if the wind isn't blowing, then the storm is a coming.

I just went outside for the first time today. Really nice - 50ish, no wind, bright and sunny. My Uber driver said it looked like a beautiful summer day, if the trees were without their leaves during the summer. Happy Night Two of Chanukah to my fellow Jews and Merry Christmas, too.

Hit a Christmas Day record high of 80 in Dallas. A week ago it was 12.

Relatively mild in Upper Michigan today at my folks', but driving home tomorrow and there's currently a storm system on top of my destination. Ice and other winter mix crap there, blizzard conditions north and west. Hoping to leave late enough that most of it's cleaned up by the time I arrive, but not so late that I'm doing a bunch of night driving through BFE and can accomplish a few things when I arrive.

It was in the 50s all day yesterday, but it was foggy and dreary all day. Today, it's in the 70s and windy. Supposed to be back in the 30s and 40s in the next day or two.
