Who is in South Florida (or can get there) - possible get together

    Amy and I have been communicating, something we do from time to time but nowhere near as often as we should. Anyway, she mentions that she's never heard a Foo Fighters song. Never? Really? Get the F out of here.

    Lo and behold, the Foo Fighters are playing a show very close to her house on April 26. Lawn seats are available for less than $100.

    I'm going to try like hell and go. Amy needs to see Foo Fighters. I know some of you are in that area and I know some of you can get there.

    I'm seeing Foo three times this summer but my firm belief is you can never see Foo too often.

    The only band I've seen more than once. I've seen them in a small club, an arena and Central Park, they put on an amazing show no matter what kind of video.

    My 3-year-old is becoming obsessed with the Foo Fighters and Dave Grohl (without much pushing from me). The other day Smells Like Teen Spirit comes on the radio and her older sister asks if it is a Foo Fighters song. Before I can answer the little one says "No, but it is Dave Grohl playing drums."

    Anyway, that's my way of saying @Amy needs to go.

    I've never heard any of their songs either. But I'm not going all the way to South Florida just to hear them. ;)

    I've seen them indoors, outdoors, big venue and small and loved it every time. My shows up here this summer are at an amphitheater and two at the Garden.

    I would seriously think about it except my brother-in-law is getting married in California and that's going to cost us a fortune. So probably not going to be able to swing any other trips in the coming months.

    Hmm. During my vacation week. Tempting. Still haven’t seen FF in person, but they’re a must-see for us ’90s kids.

    A former co-worker saw Foos and the Police at Dodger Stadium in 2007 or so, and I remain envious of that.

    Moddy is going to be in town a few days and a couple of people who worked with Craig/SF are interested in getting together Friday night (April 27). If anyone wants to join us, let Moddy or me know.

    The party may be at my house so you could meet the new puppy!
