    It must be truly exhausting to do what Woj has done for years — I think it’s of marginal utility but he’s the king of that particular beat. He’s made his bag, so good for him.

    I doubt working at Bonnies during the NIL era will be any easier.

    Wonder who takes on that role at ESPN. Do they make a run at Shams or just plug along with what they have?

    Good for him. I've said it many times on this board, but whenever our paths would cross when he was at the Fresno Bee in the 90s during the Tark era and I would drop in from time to time from Merced, he was extremely nice.

    Was hoping he was retiring but at least this new job shouldn't require two phones bolted to his head at all times.

    I think Shams is a free agent, which makes me wonder if he knew this was coming.

    Those two guys dislike each other, which is why I’d say no.

    (Aside: Find time to read the tremendous deep dive into their rivalry — it was very good. Could have been WaPo, but not sure.)
