You know ... I said the same thing to some co-workers. But apparently there is.

A recruit is a private. A recruit who has finished Boot is a Private Second class. .... but they're called "Private." It's the E-2 Army rank (and not in the Marines).

I was just coming here to ask the same question Justin did. That's good to know. Wish I had you around when I asked a guy what he retired as. He gave me his pay grade which I hadn'ta clue what that meant so I did the Google chart. Pretty sure the guy didn't retire as a major or colonel or whatever I called him.

Can someone explain to me how North Korea survives? I know they have black market operations and print American dollars. But how does a backass country ruled by a dying drunk remain stable?
