The "championship four" were pretty much the top four the whole race. I'd love to know how often that happened over the thousands of laps over the rest of the season that they ran together at all.
In my part of NY, our vaccination rate is closer to 40 percent. The unvaccinated are supposed to be wearing masks, which is why mine isn't going anywhere even though I am.
Am I the only one annoyed when the remaining four drivers seem to run in the top four spots every year for a good portion of the finale every year? It never seems to happen at any other point of the season.
Schrader was the first one to the car after the crash and could be seen waving the EMS folks to the car. He has never spoken about what he saw. I think Dale Jr. thanked him for that on the podcast.
I was the sports editor in Bennington then. I remember having to run over to the school to pick up the film (yes. film) from my assistant SE who was covering the game. I wound up staying until the end.
It was crazy to be sure.
I would never do either. I don't need anyone's autograph and I don't need a selfie. I figure if you're on company time, you need to be doing company business and if you're photographer on assignment, you shouldn't be on the other side of the camera.
What are your thoughts on a photographer that usually get a pic of himself with the person that is the focus of the story? He's got numerous shots of himself with politicians, etc. on a bulletin board at work. I find it wildly unprofessional, but may that's just me.
