Have they ever taken someone from out of state for this particular position? Say, 2,000-miles-away out of state? Seems as if they'd want to stay fairly local.

This has been bugging me for a while. Which do you prefer? I realize AP style requires "sports writer," but in my personal writing I've flip-flopped between the two before settling on "sportswriter" ... for now.

Anybody know much about The Citizen, or about Lee Enterprises in general?
