SEs that have been at major metros for a long time is usually a good thing. At a small paper such as the PotNews, not so much.

Decent paper. shirt pay. High cost of living. Two or three lifers on staff, including the SE. Excellent opportunity to get some good clips and move on to bigger and better things.
