My gifter last year rocked the house with a great Brewers fleece. I wear it everywhere it is cold (which in Europe, is a lot). I still taste the Boo Berry that my SS from 2007 hooked me up with. Man that was tasty!

I just read Neil Gaiman's Marvel Universe treatment of "1602." Interesting concept and the story telling was, as is to be expected, top notch. The art was splendid. I'm going to read Darwyn Cooke's adaptation of "The Hunter" this week. I'm really looking forward to that one.

Crystal was a fine person and a solid reporter. I knew her for a couple of months last summer when she was on a fellowship in Germany. I was astounded when her colleague at the paper in Bismarck e-mailed me.

"Bad Things" - Jace Everett. (Heard it on True Blood and was hooked. Guy's two albums that I found are pretty good).

I bought a DVD of Danny Boyle's "Sunshine" and was pleasantly surprised by the film (it got some horrific reviews, but it was only a euro at the local video shop).
