    From Denver to Boston

Definitely Celtics beat. Maybe NBA in the future.

Covering the Celts. Might develop into more in the coming years.

Prep Sports Writer, York (Pa.) Daily Record/Sunday News

If you can write well, send your best stuff. You'll learn how to do enterprise with Frank Bodani and Jim Seip around. Those two are serious talents. I spent four years in York, at both papers, and I'm better for the experience.

    Orlando Sentinel general assignment reporter

Where is Pauley? That kid is a piece of work, by the way. York is indeed a pipeline, or so I've been told. Plenty of talent still exists at that other paper, talent just waiting to be rescued, pillaged or whatever expression you prefer.

I wasn't aware Dave Curtis worked for a fan magazine, although he did attend Syracuse. And he also covered lacrosse briefly. He worked in York (Pa.) and at the NY Post. And yes, he has been an outstanding hire.

George is the goods. He'll be just fine. Have to agree with Mizzou - a great hire.

SMG: An interview with Tracy Ringolsby

Mine is a sweat-stained Red Sox hat. Knock if you must, but it's distinct. No one forgets, and it's always worth a comment, usually an ice-breaker. Anything that helps.

How about that John Lembo? What a guy... Good work, dude. Don't know if it means anything, but I'm proud of you.

    Tom Junod Q&A

Loved the Stipe story. What was the reasoning for that type of approach? What was the immediate reaction? Is the reaction the same even now?

    The next Shocka coach

Please, do tell. I'd like to hear all of the Gregg Marshall horror stories. Just for the sake of curiosity, of course... :)

    Huggins to WVU??

Agreed. That's lazy logic. I don't think K-State is in any danger of being placed on probation any time soon, but maybe one year wasn't enough time for Huggins to get comfortable.

    Best baseball writers?

I'm biased, but I'm a big fan of Jorge Arangure. I think you're going to be reading a lot from him in the future. :)
