I'm still waiting for someone, anyone, to explain to me why so many people care about Little League in the first place. It's a joke to me that youth sports are such a big deal.

Yes, I know that. But that still doesn't mean the Gold Glove always goes to the best defensive player at a position. For instance, Palmeiro won it 1999. He played 28 games at first base.
Oh yes, we know the Gold Glove always goes to the person judged to be the most superior. And all the players in the All-Star Game are the best in baseball.
