Apparently, Big Swole (AKA Mrs. Cedric Alexander) said she left AEW because of a lack of diversity. While I don't necessarily see it (some of their top women beyond Britt are Black, Asian, Latina and transgender), Tony Khan would've been better served keeping his mouth shut.



And at least one active AEW wrestler called him out on it, though Lio clearly isn't one to withhold his opinion.

I keep thinking about how he'd react if the real sports media actually put any pressure on him and his family for the Jags being a joke. They're rather fortunate no one cares about the franchise because based on how he reacts to any AEW criticism it wouldn't be pretty.

Reigns out. Lesnar in the Big E match which is now a fatal 5 way. Do they do something completely insane and blow up Mania and shift Lesnar to Raw just to make this a huge show? Replace what you lost with something bigger kinda thing?

I think you stick with the plan. This Lesnar-Reigns feud is not one to simply throw away. They've done a great job building it into more than just another match.
Maybe push it down the line to the Rumble PPV, if that wasn't the plan already. Or — assuming Reigns will be fine in a few days — have Lesnar and Heyman lean into the COVID thing and say Reigns is scared and ducking Lesnar, and maybe even suggest he's faking it.
Dragging it out to Wrestlemania after it's already been going for a couple of months will feel like a slog. But they need to headline a PPV against each other if at all possible.

If anything this could be better for Mania, the way Becky Lynch missing Rousey at Survivor Series was better for that Mania.

BUT by all accounts this new ppv is Nick Kahn's baby and they'll want some huge moment to make it a big deal kinda memorable show….

Well, if they were planning a title change they can still do it. There are three other guys in that match they can give it to besides Lesnar. They don't even have to change the end result of that match if they were planning to give it to one of them. And if the plan was to have Lesnar beat Reigns and Big E retains, but they want that big pop for a title change, then have Lashley or Rollins go over and become a transitional champ. They drop it back to Big E on Raw or at the Rumble PPV.

After thinking about it, another thought occurred ... if they have Lesnar win this thing and end Big E's title reign, after he also ended Kofi's reign? Yikes. Let the internet shirt storm begin.

COVID can go to heck. On top of the usual reasons, with the cancellation of Brock/Roman, it probably forced them to give this Drew/Moss match more time.
