A Frank Miller graphic novel masterpiece.
On the heels of the Sin City success, they've made a movie out of it.
Opens March 9.

Based on Frank Miller's graphic novel about the Battle of Thermopylae in 480 B.C.

Certainly not for everybody.
But I'm such a Miller geek, I'm stoke
I'd seen stills and such on the web site. But they just ran a commercial for it during the NFC game. And I'm even more eager for March 9 to get here.

"Our arrows will block out the sun."

"Then we will fight in the shade."

I've been looking forward to this for a LONG time. March 9 can't come soon enough.

I've been telling everyone about this since "The Departed" opened...they showed a long trailer for it.

It looks effing amazing, especially the part kokane referenced.

this thing looks retarded.

Just out of curiousity, why?
Not saying you're wrong. Like I said, I think Miller is a genius, but his style is not for everybody.
I loved Sin City the Movie because I felt it stayed very close to Miller's graphic novel vision.
300 looks like it's following the same path.

I'm also curious how having the director from Dawn of the Dead will end up. I was a big fan of that movie.

That's the other part that got me interested. I don't like horror films. Got dragged to Dawn of the Dead by my nephew because no one else would go with him. It was pretty amazing stuff visually.

There also wasn't much dicking around getting into the plot.
Women gets off work, takes shower with boyfriend, falls asleep, wakes up...
BAM! forkERS EATING EACH OTHER.
