I would think Taylor Swift's Capital One commercials are part of a sponsorship deal for her tour. But she is also getting a reported $8 million for those commercials, and it looks like Garner is getting between $3 million and $5 million per year. So yes, the money is very amazing.

I was living in Chicago in the mid-nineties and there was some shirtty PSA by Scottie Pippen about some issue. It looked like it was filmed by the local high school AV club and Scottie showed the commensurate level of effort. I was certain it was part of a plea deal .
