RIP Eric Carmen

Everyone has their artist or artists who they feel were undervalued by history. This one's mine. The king of power pop died over the weekend.

The fact that many will first ashociate him with the syrupy "Hungry Eyes" and "Make Me Lose Control" is sad to me. Between his solo career and the Raspberries, he was a consummate musician. Some of the deep tracks on his solo albums were stunning.

A little bit heart-broken. RIP.
