Worked with him for a bit. Really hard for me to accept. He regularly updated his Facebook through it all with both his medical situation, what was going on in the Salem preps community, his gratitude for his family and friends and medical team, his ups and his downs. We were planning a parade by his home this weekend as he was due to finish up his last round of chemo. The guy fought cancer like a beast and continued to work through it all. Tyson Alger wrote about him in August. Pete's last FB posts were from two weeks ago - a message of thanks to his dad and a recap of the week in high school football Rest in Peace Pete.
