We are the premier local media source in Middle Tennessee and are seeking a reporter/editor who loves to cover high school sports. Our company, which currently publishes 13 weekly newspapers, websites, social media pages, e-newsletters and a streaming TV channel, is looking for a sports reporter/editor in Robertson County due to a promotion.
The right candidate loves to be out and about covering the teams, coaches and players in the county. We cover football heavily but are focused on all sports from basketball to volleyball to soccer to track and field and more. You will write stories, take photos and provide our readers with the best local sports coverage in the area.
Work will appear in print, online and social media. Our sports reporter/editor also hosts a 30-minute weekly TV show talking about Robertson County sports. Our sports reporter/editor will be part of Main Street Preps, the largest group of high school sports reporters in the state. We are growing fast and looking for a competitive self-starter who loves being part of a winning team.
