Happy for women's boxing to see a female main event... but not psyched about the matchup. Anyone else?

(Taylor should trounce Serrano.)

I''d have much rather seen Claressa Shields headline the historic card at MSG.
Interested to gauge opinion here

I'm not back to covering live indoor events in NYC yet. Still too covid-wary.

That said, under normal circumstances I'd have gone to this fight gladly.

Agree about Ms. Shields, but she'll get her chance to headline a card. Maybe soon. Maybe Las Vegas.

Very good fight. The decision was reasonable. I had Taylor winning 96-94.
They fight 10 times, it's 5-5.

Ugh!! The NYT didn't even cover it. It's 11:30 am ET the next day and I had to Google to find out it was a split decision.
Sounded (from Reuters) like both fighters were dragging in the final round. How many rounds was it, btw?
Was there even a crowd?

10 two-minute rounds. I've heard 15,000.
