Doesn't roll off the tongue like "Bicentennial" did in 1976.

Any plans to celebrate on July 4, 2026?

Orange Julius mentioned it in one of his first-term speeches in 2017 and crickets since

I plan to be out of the country.

Not interested in saying, "Yay, America!" when this cretin can dupe enough of its voters to win high office.

I'm serving on my states's steering committee (there's like 100 people so not that select). So, yeah, I'm excited.

why?

I was born a year after the bicentennial, and always thought it looked so inspiring and cool as a kid. Vowed to lived to be 99 so I could make the tri. Now, I'll settle for 49 and enjoy it in two years.

It was a pretty big deal in 1976. We had just gotten rid of a corrupt criminal president in an orderly transfer of power.

I was just graduated from high school and I can tell you, except for a few minor things they screwed up, the movie "Dazed and Confused" got it dead-on balls accurate.

We'll be in the middle of the World Cup then. MLB All-Star Game is in Philly.

1976 was a pretty big deal to this then-7-year-old.
