Whatever happened to Shelley Smith?

Anybody know?

She came here to a do a story on a formerly homeless basketball player trying out for our women's team.

The story was excellent, and to talk sportswriting with her is a great memory. Her complimenting my writing is up there with this board's appreciation of my coverage of the 1988 Christmas Eve Nakatomi Plaza incident.

Any information would be appreciated.
