It was going to be hard for the ref to see that dive because he was facing the back of the defender. I think they wanted to keep VAR limited so it didn't make the game choppy: Offsides, penalties in the box, mistaken identities and balls crossing the goal line. It's hard when technology allows us to see things that are impossible to see by those on the field. That dive was really bad. It makes me wonder if the sideline ref should have caught it and why he didn't.

Trump has neither the energy nor the mental capacity to be a dictator. He'd LIKE to be one, but only if somebody else did the work of setting it up for him. Putin is more than willing to put the time in. KGB didn't recruit nor tolerate lazy people. By the way, my son's report from Moscow was, "political conversations were very short. No way I could possibly have worse things to say about Russia's government than Russians do." So exactly like home in some ways.
