According to the most recent issue of South Dakota magazine, Pine Ridge native Billy Mills remains the only man from the Western Hemisphere to win a gold medal in the Olympic 10K. Checked it out, and it's true.

Running Brave is a good movie. It came out after Benson’s popularity had faded almost completely, which probably hurt it.

Man, those lapped runners didn’t really try to get out of the way.

The former outfielder with the Marlins, Reds and Cleveland’s MLB team had three career hits; two of them were homers. He also had one very unique moment in the MLB spotlight. Who was he?

Nigel Wilson, who was the first pick in the Marlins-Rockies expansion draft in 1993.

Bingo. I used him as an Immaculate Grid answer recently and thought it interesting that he was hitless in his first 20+ at-bats and ended up with just the three hits and two homers.

Name the only MLB player to spend 20 or more seasons with the same team, and is not in the Hall of Fame?

Hints: He was a pitcher and made four all star teams, but might be better known as a pitching coach with that same team.

Great to have a Polly Holliday inference. Good bitchy role too in All The President's Men.
