The story of Peter and Anton Stastny (later joined by brother Marian) escaping to the West is fascinating.
They arrived in Quebec and Peter immediately started blowing it up for the Nordiques.
Peter was a member of the 1980 Czech Olympic team the Americans blasted at Lake Placid. The brothers probably were, too, though I'm not 100 percent sure.
His NHL-playing sons were born and raised in St. Louis.
CORRECTION: Yan and Paul were born in Quebec City, raised in St. Louis.

Saw a good one the other day on an Ivy League telecast. Only three FCS programs have won at least nine games in each of the past three seasons. Who are they?

There are three NFL HOF Qbs with losing records as starters. Name them. Two are well-known. One is obscure because he only played 23 games at the position.

I’ll say Joe Namath, Sonny Jurgesen and Charley Trippi?

Ding, ding, ding on Fouts. He really wasn't great his first five years. Wasn't until Coryell arrived that he started to produce. If he was drafted to day he would have been out of the league by then. 12-30-1.

    NDSU, SDSU and Richmond.

Only three private schools have won FCS championships: Furman, Villanova and the Spiders.

The Ivies don't do the playoffs, so it might be skewed.
