    The story of Peter and Anton Stastny (later joined by brother Marion) escaping to the West is fascinating.
    They arrived in Quebec and Peter immediately started blowing it up for the Nordiques.
    Peter was member of the 1980 Czech Olympic team the Americans blasted at Lake Placid. The brothers probably were, too, though I'm not 100 percent sure.
    His NHL-playing sons were born and raised in St. Louis.
