The majority doesn’t care about his morals or lack of them. I’ve heard many say “I’m not voting for him because of his morals.” They don’t care because it’s an Us vs. Them situation and whoever can beat “them” is fine, morals or criminal record be damned.

And within that group along with the others who do think he’s a shitball, the “fake evil media” is making up everything. It’s all lies about him and conspiracies to “force their librul crap down our throats!”

While not caring, of course, that they’re forcing their supposedly Godly, upright, correct views on everyone else. Because, “we’re right and THEY are wrong.”

I absolutely adore the fact that Hermes backed up about 99 percent of what you say on this thread and you went into argument mode out of force of habit.

I'm so f*cking glad that my views (and the views of millions of my fellow Americans) are so f*cking abhorrent that these poor, helpless, downtrodden white folk have no choice but to turn to an actual monster to defeat us. F*cking great!

I would welcome a coherent and convincing argument FOR Trump. Other than the other side is worse for whatever reason. I hear crud from super-lefties as well. I tell them, I used to be an idealist like you, became jaded and cynical that "they're all the same" before I became a realist. I'll accept a candidate if I agree with them 51 percent of the time over someone I only agree with 49 percent of the time. I guess we have generations who are so accustomed to being catered to, they construct their "world" exactly as they want it - if something isn't perfectly aligned "it sucks."
Trump can still go around the country and do his rant-fests if he loses, people can still "believe in him" etc. Just don't let him anywhere near the controls of our democracy.

Another chapter in "People are uninformed morons:"

    Some sample quotes:
“I have heard a lot of people say that he is racist, but I honestly don’t think he is racist,” Mr. Saucedo said. “All of the stuff was taken out of context.”

Mr. Sanchez said he knew he was out of step with many of his Gen Z friends, but he believed Mr. Trump was the candidate who could most help him achieve financial stability. He said the Democratic Party lacked common-sense policies.

“The internet has labeled Trump a racist,” Mr. Sanchez said, but he viewed the former president’s intended message as being “to take care of Americans and make us feel safe.”

Not sure about their support for Trump, but my area of Central Washington has a state senator who is a Latina member of the GOP. She and a lot of her supporters are Republicans because of their religious views.

Of course as many have pointed out, Trump literally doesn’t know five words of text from the Bible and probably would burst into flames if he ever entered a church. His hypocrisy would disgust both the clergy and worshipers in 95% of our nation’s churches.

Yet many of those folks will vote for him.
