You could always adopt another beagle and name it Carter. *ducking*

Oh my embittered heart! We had two cats, a tabby and a Maine Coon, who looked just like the cats in your bottom photo. Tabby made it to 17 and the Maine Coon made it to 20. Tabby was a slow decline but the Maine Coon was happy as could be two days before she went downhill.

3 days to figure out what's going on.
3 weeks to understand their place.
3 months to feel part of the family.

On a walk late one night this week, we ran into a neighbor who has a 14-year-old beagle. It was our neighbor's first time meeting our new family member, Finley, whom we've had now just for a week. His reaction was wonderful: "Wait, you found a beagle - as a rescue?!"

Actually, kind sir, I think he found us. Either way, I'm very glad to be a part of Finn's life. We hope to give him a happy one. Welcome home, buddy.
