Whenever I went to any place which was crowded, I would always check where the exits were in case there was a fire.

That's what I get from having a father who was a fireman.

I don't mind the stories about the killer's motivation after time and after some real investigation has been done by both law enforcement and reputable media.

But this instant analysis crap is nonsense.

Christopher Nolan is now speaking out against the atrocity.
Never mind it is in his economic interests to do so.
A filmmaker who glorifies mayhem and death instead of the beauty and sincerity of life.
Whether you like it or not this movie is the kind of trash that does have a negative impact on people.
Don't think he's not part of the problem.
He poisons the atmosphere, then walks away with trucks full of cash - all while convincing everyone that he "cares."
This movie will make him even richer but maybe he will think twice about his next project.

    Yes! Ban violence in film!
    In literature too!

I used to always sit in the middle at the top row. Always. But lately I've started sitting in the front or second rows so I have a clearer shot at an exit. Best believe I'll certainly be taking that route now.

But theaters where I've been also don't have exits near the top, so either way I'm screwed.

Also, I heard that the shooter started his attack 30 minutes into the movie when the first action scene took place so that the sounds of gunfire were somewhat hidden with the action going on in the scene.

    1) Is that true, and 2) if so, how did he know? I actually find it incredible one shooter pulled off this whole thing.

One of the people in the theater was on with Anderson Cooper and said that he actually came in during a down point in the movie, involving Alfred and Bruce in the Batcave (OMG SPOILER ALERT).

Someone tell me why it should be legal for someone to buy/own an assault rifle and be able to buy/own a 100-round cylinder clip that allows a semi-automatic assault rifle to fire as fast as you can squeeze the trigger 100 times without reloading.

Because it's in the constitution, man. You never know when the Russian army is going to show up at your door.
