Yeah, I had just come back briefly to post that I can't account for that part.

    C'mon, man.

He says he was afraid the guy would hear the baby crying and come for them... so he abandoned the crying baby on the floor, ran out of the theater, got in his car and drove away. He left his wounded girlfriend behind with an infant and a toddler.

There is no brave or reasonable spin to put on this one.

Give America this: No country is better at organizing heartbreaking/inspiring vigils after mass shootings. Of course other countries don't get the chance to do it every six months.

You only cover us when we have mass killings!

One bun in her oven. Notice the difference in the identification.

Are you insane? The media was dragged kicking and screaming into any connection between the Fort Hood shooter and the Muslim religion. There was this "don't rush to judgement" attitude.

And can you tell me more about how people who don't obey the law (criminals) would suddenly start obeying tougher gun laws?

So, elections, and the media can push someone towards right wing nuttery, but violent movies don't contribute to a violent society?

Tried to attend the service but it was crazy trying to get down there. The turnout was incredible, but it was damn near impossible to get down there, even getting down there about an hour before it started.

I think that presidential elections tend to push both sides to their extremes, no? People have a desire to villainize the other side.

Very intriguing about the last part. It's like he stole the idea from The Town.
