    Sadly, this is the risk we all talk every day. At the grocery store. A gas station. In a mall.

    Especially in a movie theatre, people really are sitting targets. So, so sad.

    That mall seems pretty safe. I've been there several times as my brother-in-law and his wife live just a few miles away. Even if the mall "seemed" safe, there is not much you can do when someone decides to go on a shooting spree.

    If my brother-in-law and his wife didn't have a small child, I would be pretty worried as he used to go to midnight shows like this before him and his wife adopted their baby.

    People are idiots. It's just a given.

    Yesterday I was reading a story how a 10-year-old girl fought off an attacker thanks to what she saw on Law and Order... wait for it... Special Victims Unit.

    Come on, Mile, seriously. Who's going to find a sitter at midnight? There are bigger issues here than that. Someone else is getting their panties in a wad about the 6-year old. It's summer. They're off school. I'm sure the parents didn't drop the 6 year old or the 3 month old off at the theater and leave.

    That must mean everyone in the Tea Party is a raving, homicidal lunatic ready to kill 12 people at every step. Didn't take long for this to politicize.
