Or maybe not alive to talk about it?

And you can go hand-to-hand with someone who is armed.
Ask one of your service vets.
But it's more fun to twist around 3OctaveFart's delicate suggestion.
    Don't be so sensitive.
Questions like this can inform the gun debate.

Always be prepared for the chance you may have to fight for your life.
This is a thing of the distant past.
But we might have to get back to it now in a sick, meaner world.

Yes, military members were victims, who apparently didn't get the necessary training or simply decided to go down like small game. And, outing alert: 30Octave is Mark Wahlberg.

Once again, you're taking this personally.
A small, determined, angry mob who had taken a few minutes to synthesize what was going on around them (if they even were still alive) could have ripped this Ronald McDonald POS to pieces.
A gun can only point in one direction.
    I'm done arguing about this.
I just can't believe no one acted.

    Is 30 a sock puppet?

It was over before the small, determined, angry mob had time to synthesize anything.

My gosh, the Fort Hood shooter walked into a room filled with trained soldiers and killed 13. But you expect civilians - in a dark room with no combat training - to rush a guy firing a shotgun and AR at them?

My first instinct would not have been "how can I take this guy down using the experience I've gained from ordering several MMA PPVs, watching a special on Krav Maga and seeing "Red Dawn" 23 times on HBO growing up?" It would have been "how can I make sure that my friends and family get out the door alive?"

Then again, I can't believe that I'm defenseless against this moderate level of trolling, so what do I know.
