    Again. 100-round magazine.

No need to reload in this case.

    Wrong, chief.
    He unquestionably stopped to reload.
This has been confirmed by eyewitness accounts and ballistic experts.

I thought the troll said he was leaving? Trolls never do, though.

I'll do it out of respect for Mod and Ragu.
Not out of any for you, though.

If all the trolls left then this board would have like 50 members.

And how long did it take him to reload? A few seconds? Fifteen seconds? Thirty seconds?
However long it was, in that time you have to pick your head up and collect your wits (not easy considering there MIGHT have been a dozen people in the theater who have actually been under fire, and there's no telling if they were wounded by then); make sure he's actually reloading and not just searching for a target; and cover however much ground you have to cover to get to him (could be 100 feet, likely while running down narrow steps, through a panicked mob, and in the dark).
If you can accomplish all that, and somehow get within striking distance without getting shot, you still have to take down an armed, armored gunman in the grips of a killing frenzy.
    Piece of cake.

You have to wonder why the people in the three planes that hit their targets on 9-11 didn't have the guts to do something.

We should all be so lucky. Being a troll is bad enough. Doing it on a thread about a serious news story like this is despicable.

    I wasn't trolling.
It's a curious aspect of the case.
This is being discussed plenty elsewhere.
    we're good, SportsPredictor.
    As you were.

It was a .380. It's just a hair better than a pea shooter and half a hair better than a .22.
