Kind of strange they haven't released his full name. Usually you get fisrt, middle & last names on a suspect to avoid confusion on who he/she is.

I have never liked the idea of localizing a story like this - just because you can.
If you got a good angle, great, but checking with local police and movie theaters to see if they are concerned always seemed like a cheap stretch.

Gehrig, if you are in Ontario you might be familiar with the guy in Barrie who loaded his home with riffles, shotguns and bombs and bomb-making equipment necessitating an evacuation of the neighbourhood so cops could clear the place out. His lawyer says he is a survivalist. Sure, he is.

Pretty inexpensive to get a tear gas grenade. I'm sure there are plenty of gun stores or Army surplus stores that sell these as well.

This may be one of those cases where you have to do something, though, considering just about every entertainment/things to do section in the country bought into hyping this one hook, line and sinker.

My 17 year old went to the local midnight showing last night. It was 2:00 am last night and I can't sleep because he's out, and I turn on the kindle fire in bed and go to SportsJournalists.com and read this thread. Yikes.

I turned on cnn til he got home - every time I hear CNN interview an eyewitness by phone, I keep thinking I am going to hear "Baba Booey, Baba Booey".

This news just sickens me this morning. I've been out here four and half years and never have I seen our state in the news so much as it has this summer. One of my referee buddies was in the theatre next door, a co-worker has a friend in the hospital, another co-worker is trying to locate a nephew who went to the midnight showing. It's nuts right now.

I think it would be fair to talk to people going to see the movie to see how they feel about it.

If you mean the one with the little-boy victim also in the picture, there aren't many pictures more haunting.

Sadly, there will be many more horrible such pictures from Aurora.
