2 Michigan men arrested on terror plot

I don't think they'll have an easy time flying out of the country.

 

But they could hide in this country. I'd call them a "flight risk."

I don't think terror suspects should be eligible for bond right away.

 

I'm sure that even in the loo, the nation's law enforcement eyes and ears will be all over these guys. Heck, by being out, they may lead us to other baddies.

 

One guy has a court-appointed attorney. The other guy doesn't have one yet. I doubt they'll be posting bond any time soon. And if they do that sure as hell raises some massive red flags.

 

Why does that not surprise you with those two men, and what leads you to be sure that there are more of them in Dearborn?

Well, Dearborn is extremely populated with Muslims. I'm sure there would be some extremists in there. But have I come across any? Not that I know of.

 

Call me crazy, but I'd rather not have them free on bond.

Unfortunately, they didn't charge high enough to make the bail any higher. This is the legal intersection of being tough on terrorism and trying not to lose our fabric.
