Thank you everyone for not mentioning "Lips of An Angel" by Hinder ... hate that damn song with a passion, yet I hear it all day long cuz a co-worker next to me insists on listening to the pop-40 crap station that can't possibly play more than six songs in its rotation.

I now return to my current selection of Billy Joel's "I Go To Extremes" on my iPod, to be followed by "Walk Idiot Walk" by The Hives.

Ok, I put one out there, and it tops the list here, but here's something a little more definitive.

I Will Follow You Into The Dark - Death Cab For Cutie
Hate (I really don't like you) - Plain White T's
    The Fallen - Franz Ferdinand
    Perfect Situation - Weezer
    Move Along - All-American Rejects
    Miss Murder - AFI
Ain't No Other Man - Christian Aguilera
    Suddenly I See - K.T. Tungstall
    Brighter than Sunshine - Aqualung
You Know My Name - Chris Cornell
Gorillaz - Dare (Sean Ryder, Nice)
    Morningwood - Nth Degree
Here it goes again - Ok Go
When You Were Young - The Killers
Not Ready to Make Nice - The Dixie Chicks
Call Me When You're Sober - Evanescence
Waiting On the World to Change - John Mayer
    Bat Country - Avenged Sevenfold
    Level - The Raconteurs
Tell me Baby - Red Hot Chili Peppers
    Anna-Molly - Incubus

  4. No mention of The Game on here, who by far had the best hip-hop album of 2006. Jay-Z should have stayed retired. And best hip-hop single definitely is Hip-Hop Is Dead by Nas because Hip-Hop is definitely on life support right now.

I love, love, love Call Me When You're Sober.

Actually, grrrlhack has the same taste as me, cause that's about the exact same list I'd have put together. Mine just woulda had "Sexyback" by Justin Timberlake and "Irreplaceable" by Beyonce on it.
