I didn't really think I would have to worry about having a $500 deductible on the comprehensive part of my car insurance. Then my system got stolen last semester.

I was thrilled to get home to my quiet, crimeless hometown for the summer. How could my bad car luck continue?

Then I came out to my car this morning:



And I don't live across the street from a ballpark.

Dallas is suddenly in serious jeopardy again.

I vote for either $6 or $15. I'm looking at a grand for the weekend if I even make it, between the hotel, budgeted drinking money and a plane ticket.

Lower HR Porch is the best (outdoor) seat in the house for a day game. It's shaded and breezy, and you won't go home looking like a lobster.

However, someone said bleachers is the SJ tradition.

We haven't sat in the bleachers yet. We were behind home plate (I think) in DC, and a little down third-base line in Toronto.

Not hypocrisy. I'm still in. That 'if I even make it' was in reference to a grand, not the weekend. I wouldn't have voted on baseball ticket costs if I wasn't in.
