It worked for the roster that Mo had years ago.

But Laviolette? Good grief. And Joni Pitkanen had the shot.

"One shot? That's all we got? One g_dd_mn shot?"
"You can't say g_dd_mn on the radio."
"Ah hell, no one's listening, anyway."

(Rest assured, Chuck Kaiton, I'm listening.)

A Joe Nuxhall-type case, except, unlike Joe Nuxhall, Bep Guidolin was good enough to stick in the bigs right from the very start.

He just missed out on Stanley Cups in Boston and Detroit, and came within two wins of coaching a Memorial Cup champion in Oshawa, but he did play for an Allan Cup winner in Belleville. RIP.

I think it was a loud room in the first intermission because the Canes played MUCH better and much less dumping and much more shooting. Now if Samsonov would stop playing around with the damn puck and either shoot it or pass it!

Ovechkin already has his fifth career hat trick and still has a period left.

you'll see that in the last half of his contract year, until then sit back and feel the frustration of every fan of each team he has played for.

JC, sadly, Samsonov's deal is multi-year. As I've said before, it's different because the Whalercanes didn't sign him to be the savior. But still, shoot or pass.

I hear you, but a leopard rarely changes his spots. What did he get anyway?

    Three years, $7.6M from Whalercanes.

And three straight losses for the Canes.

    Ouch.

The Canes seem to have too much talent to be playing like this. I am obviously a long distance away and have watched very few games, but what seems to be their problem?

Pens come from 3-1 down in the 3rd to win 5-3 on the Island.
10th come from behind win of the season.
    Nice.
