I can't think of a single publisher who would want this project.

    I mean, none.

Featuring Hockey’s number # 1 bad boy controversial figure former NHLPA agent Dave Frost. His behind the scenes expertise look, that no one else will tell you about today’s game.
That's the very first line on the site and it's barely coherent.

I wouldn't want to touch this project with a 95-foot electrified pole, but somebody will and or already has.

Who wants to bet Danton eats the end of a shotgun within 10 years?

Books have been written about them, but they haven't written their own, nor do I think that will ever happen.

My mistake, I guess they weren't autobiographical. But if there is the need to know the inside scoop of what went on with that case, then there is the market for Frost/Danton. Hell OJ has had his own book deals, didn't he even have one based on if he did it?

Yes, but it was scrubbed once public revulsion became clear.

If anything, the revulsion quotient in Canada would be far, far higher for Bernardo/Homolka and Frost/Danfferson than it was in the States for OJ.

Like I said, I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole, I won't even go to his website out of disgust, but it wouldn't surprise me if the book was published and three or four -- but not many more -- actually picked it up. I gotta say the Danton end is a little intriguing, but Frost just makes my skin crawl. I would much prefer if it wasn't autobiographical as well.

For anyone who thinks the Rangers are a legit contender for The Cup, I offer yesterday's debacle against Florida: http://www.nypost.com/seven/12012008/sports/rangers/warnings_abound_in_blueshirt_bummer_141630.htm

Do the Rangers package Petr Prucha, Nigel Dawes, Rozsival and a couple first round picks for a sniper and a physical, shut down defenseman?

Unless Glen Sather can land a mean defenseman and a 30-to-40 goal scorer at the trade deadline, this team is going nowhere. It's fair to criticize Sather for not signing Brooks Orpik (and I know how the board's Whalercanes fans feel about him) as a UFA over the summer. As currently construed, the Rangers' blueline is a mishmash of odd fitting pieces. Paul Mara is the only defenseman who plays with an edge; Dan Girardi and Marc Staal are constantly improving, but neither is a franchise blueliner yet; Wade Redden and Michael Rozsival are the same player, with a slight edge going to Redden.

Up front, without a legitimate goal scorer to get the puck to, Scott Gomez is being wasted. Naslund is a second or third line forward at this point. Ryan Callahan is a fan favorite, but he'll never be a top six forward. Drury is best served as a third line center, partnered with Naslund and Callahan. The second and fourth lines are set.

They'll be in the mix for Sundin if they can make the cap work.

Yeah, HB, I still have major issue with Brooks Orpik. Yes, Erik Cole is in Edmonton, but it happened while he was playing his home games in Raleigh and it was a cheap shot.

But if it makes you and the Rangers fans feel any better, the Whalercanes might want to smooth some bumps in the road - quickly becoming vehicle-swallowing potholes - if the organization would like to avoid missing the playoffs for a third straight season.

And where will Sundin play? Rangers have Gomez, Dubinsky, Drury and Blair Betts at center. Unless he can play wing, there's not a spot on Broadway for Sundin.
