    Careful, HB. Injuries can happen.

The same was said when the Whalercanes went and got Doug Weight - where do you put him? Not long after that deal, Erik Cole had his neck broken by Brooks Orpik. Not a good way to get a roster spot, but that's how Weight fit in in Raleigh.

I think about 26 other teams need the same thing

Part 4 of the Toronto Sun's series on the Greater Toronto Hockey League. This should be mandatory reading for all idiot hockey parents.

Jim Fox, the LA Kings color analyst, talked about Sundin last night (Kings hosted the Leafs) and mentioned Sundin to the Habs as a possible move and said Sundin's in Los Angeles skating these days and staying in shape. Would LOVE to see Sundin during my late Dec. to early Jan. Canada trip, regardless of which team he'd be with at the time.

With his new Pokerstars endorsement deal, I wonder if he's spending his time away from the rink at the Bicycle.

If I'm a fringe Flame, I'm begging to get into the lineup so I can spear that sonofabitch in the throat and save Phaneuf from a suspension for feeling he has to do something on his own.

I know all about gamesmanship, but there are things you say on the ice ("Hey, Hanrahan!!") that you would never say publicly. It's absolutely disgusting that he would refer to his ex-girlfriend in a TV interview as someone else's sloppy seconds. It doesn't matter if she's Elisha Cuthbert, it's just not cool at all.

Honestly, I don't understand why someone hasn't killed Avery yet or at least caused him serious injury. I say that in all seriousness.

I have the feeling that, if the Flames ganged up on Avery in a five-on-one line brawl, no one on the Stars would come to his defence.

Maybe Ott would drop 'em, but that's about it.

In suspending Avery for tonight's game, Bettman, Campbell and Daly made sure that he'd leave Calgary relatively okay.

Avery's days in Dallas are numbered if not over.

Marty Turco could barely hide the disgust on his face.

I hope Bettman & Campbell throw the book at him

Edit: And Tom Hicks, the Stars owner said that the team would have suspended Avery if the league didn't

Sean Avery is disgusting. I wonder how Brett Hull feels this little experiment is going now?

He had Modano ripping Ott and Avery after that game at Boston. Now Turco is disgusted. Not good in Big D.

At least Hull will get to start his golf season a little early.
