Not going to touch it with a 10-foot, 100-foot or even a 1000-foot pole.

This was how he left town.

Pens have five goals in 14 shots through two periods.
    What defensive responsibility, coach?

I'm more than OK with that. Crosby has four assists already.

FB would have just died and gone to heaven. Dick Irvin interviewing Jean Beliveau on HNIC.

Leighton was a terrible rebound machine tonight. Carolina had lots of scoring chances, but Sabourin was sharp. Oh, and Kalberle left with a lower-body injury.

More rebounds than during an N.C. State basketball game. Worse, the Whalercanes have little alternative - unless the Albany call-up gets serious consideration - as Cam Ward is out a while with a groin injury.

Frank Kaberle just came back from a broken leg, too. Wonder if it's re-injured.

Coyotes up 3-2 over Leafs. Hanzel already had a hat trick for Phoenix, 27 seconds into the second.

Wilson benches Kaberle for the entire first period, sends him out to start the second and presto, Tomas screws the pooch and is already minus 1.

    Leafs do not inspire confidence.

Lightning looked full of life and energy tonight, and still lost 3-1 to the Bruins.

Krejci had a shorthanded goal for the game-winner.

Boston is doing that to most of the league, highlighted by a convincing win over Detroit last weekend.

That may make you feel any better, but just sayin'.

No, I know, but it didn't seem to me like Boston was that much better. The Lightning outshot them, and yet couldn't beat Thomas.

Hate to harp on it, but the NHL are dopes for omitting him from the All-Star ballot.

That Blake Wheeler/Dave Krejčí/Michael Ryder third line has to be one of the hottest in the NHL. They seem really comfortable playing together. Hard to believe Krejčí is only 22. I've been following him for a few years with the P-Bruins. He has a chance to be a great one.

Boston has the second best record in the league right now.
