Sounds like the boyfriend doesn't get many high-sticking penalties during the season.

You mean the movie about the Red Sox fan based on the book by Nick Hornby about being an Arsenal fan? :)

I'm an idiot. Either way, the Rangers rid themselves of a $5 million hit. But it does force the Stars to take on more salary, and according to nhlscap.com they're already at the cap.

No doubt that the Whalercanes' blue line was patchwork. Joe Corvo played more than 30 minutes.

But it worked for the first 40 minutes, and it doesn't explain why it didn't for the last 20.

Pretty simple - it ran out of steam after 40 minutes.

Bryan Rodney, in his first NHL game, had something like 23-plus minutes of ice time.

She should hook up with one of the Penguin players. Would he then marry her because she's coming around to his way of thinking?

I like the Hawks' throwbacks for the game. They chose their mid-1930s scheme, which is a bit more toned-down than the "barber pole" jerseys.

Habs launched site today dedicated to the organization's 100 years. There's a ton of cool stuff here, including video of the greatest forward of all time, Maurice Richard.

I'm glad I'm not a Canadiens fan, 'cause River City Sports has all kinds of cool, retro-styled Habs centennial merchandise for sale and I don't have the money for such luxuries.
