Sorry Sammy but I have to do it.

    LET'S GO RANGERS! :D

Rangers win 3-2 in a SO over Sammy's Whalercanes.

Let's see ... Whalercanes have already tried the "fire the coach" BS move.

Team is skating with absolutely no confidence. Could someone finally suggest, "fire the GM"?

It's good that Cam Ward is back, but with still a wounded blue line and the front-liners not scoring nearly enough, what's next?

Paul Maurice has a LOT of work to do. Ron Francis, too ... missed TWO 5-on-3 chances?

    Couple of things:

    - I heard this on a xm radio broadcast the other night and was kind of shocked. It's probably not a shock that Edmonton is last in the NW. Going into tonight, the Oil has played 18 road games and only 9 home games, fewest in the league. That seems to be quite the disparity.

    - The Wild are really struggling. Lost again today at LA and have now lost four in a row. They have scored three goals in those four games. And they are losses to Vancouver, Nashville, Phoenix and LA. That's not good.

    - A fun team to watch is Phoenix. Very young and certainly getting better.

    That's it for now.

    There's the Lightning I know.

Shut out by Martin Freaking Gerber (that's his full name in case you didn't know) and Ottawa wins 2-0.

What's the 'in' on Atlanta? How's my kid doing?

This Edmonton-Vancouver tilt is a hot one, so far.

It always seems the late game (well, late in the east) is the better of the two games on HNIC although the Caps/Habs game was pretty good tonight. Caps won 2-1.

I'm still trying to figure out the last time the Leafs didn't play on Saturday night

On a Saturday night? I don't think so.

HC will be home from her show in about 20 minutes and we're heading over.

    Kirk says hello. :)

    Aw, Kirk is so sweet.

Tell HC that I'm on Twitter with a big wig from Molson communications. And he was at tonight's performance.

Here's his Tweet: Intermission at Sound of Music in Toronto what a wonderful performance

It's only the second period in the Oilers/Canucks game and there have already been three fights
