Quinn was quite upset when told Mikael Renberg and Robert Reichel were ineligible to play in this tournament.

 

I fail to understand how Ottawa captain Logan Couture, a Sharks prospect and a solid two-way player, didn't even get to try out for this team considering the tourney is in Ottawa.

 

Either way, it's pretty sick.

Let's see what ESPN thinks.

Considering he was supposed to be the #1 pick if Tavares hadn't been granted "exceptional status", his stock has fallen a bit.

 

Mr. FoF should chime in here, I know he saw plenty of Couture in his draft year. To be fair to the kid it seems to be one thing or another with him, either mono or injuries. I've seen him play plenty of times, some nights he's good, most nights he's invisible.

Bryan Deasley would not approve of such talk.

 

When Tavares is good he gets four goals.

 

When Couture is good he'll score one, set up another and prevent two more - that's a push.
