Huntise, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Great, just what Boston needs. Another title ...

Hey, it's not like they're the Red Sox.

    They've only gone 36 years without a championship. :D

I'd love to see Boston win the Cup. Not that many give a shit what I'd love to see.

Getting a little chippy in Vancouver at the moment. I find it weird to be watching Edmonton play for the second night in a row.

Unfortunately I don't get Versus where I'm at now, so the only games I can even watch are B's games.

I love it!!! Even I don't think the B's will win the Cup this year.

Really? Why? They play great defense, can score goals and have toughness throughout the lineup. I don't think there's a team in the league that wants to face the Bruins in a playoff series, and that includes the best of the West.

They'll do that I think 18 or 19 times this season (the back-to-back games that is). The have the strangest schedule in the world this year -- ton of back-to-backs then already they've had several stretches where they don't play for five days. Throw in huge road trips with no big homestands so far (although judging by the way they've played at home this is probably a godsend), it makes absolutely no sense.

But can you actually say you saw them play two nights in a row? I watched both games. Saw the Oilers actually 'play' the third period tonight. That was about it. Expected a lot more out of them, especially after their embarrassing game on Tuesday. To think I nearly wasted about $150 on a ticket for that game (plus gas, food and parking really I was looking at closer to $220 for just myself). They are playing absolute garbage hockey. Have all season and it started in training camp. Far too many passengers on this team.

Yes, "play" only in the most broad sense. I'm sorry to see the Oil having a shit year. I'm not an Edmonton fan, but I like to see the Canadian teams play well, at least well enough to make the playoffs.

That was Secord shoveling one in past a sprawling Beaupre.

At the very least the Hawks are my second favourite team -- which dulled the pain of Tuesday somewhat -- so at least I'll have one team to root for in the playoffs this year.
