And, of course, was immediately given back the C upon his return. Thanks for filling in, Brian Leetch, now piss off.

Canada versus Sweden in a World Junior exhibition.

5'9" Dana Tyrell lays out 6'6" Swedish defenceman Hedman. The Canucks are looking pretty tough.

    Tavares scores from Hodgson.

Canadians are trying to run the Swedes out of the ACC

The info line on Shaw Cable really should indicate 'exhibition' as opposed to the 'IIHF World Championship.'

Fair point about Clarke. I had forgotten about him being a diabetic. I didn't like him as a player so my bias is showing.

Green without a doubt pushed it when he played. That picture just stuck with me.

    No, according to TSN, it's a "pre-competition" game. :)

Leetch voluntarily gave up the 'C' because of how much he admired Messier.

This may be the first time in 20 years where I don't know a damn thing about the team.

You've never heard of John Tavares? :)

Let me be more precise ... this may be the first time in 20 years where I don't really give a damn.

It's an interesting team. Not very big but lots of speed. Also, they're carrying eight d-man which as McKenzie pointed out, has never been done.

It's also fun to see Cody Hodgson playing so well
